| WHEELER, EMILY (1820~1871) Emily Wheeler was born in Scottville, Kentucky, on December 3, 1820. While living in Fayetteville, Arkansas, she met Royal T. Wheeler. They were married in 1839 and soon afterward moved to San Augustine, Texas. Wheeler died in Galveston, Texas, on February 22, 1871, at 50 years of age. She was reinterred in the State Cemetery in 1936. |
