| MASON, A. H. (1846 ~ 1911). A.H. Mason was born in Alabama in 1846. During the Civil War he served in Company A, 21st Texas Cavalry, Buchel's Brigade in the Trans-Mississippi Army. The 21st was referred to as the 1st Texas Lancers and served in Louisiana.
Mason moved to Texas 1848 and lived in Huntsville, Texas. He was not married and was a farmer. Mason was admitted to the Confederate Men's Home on May 5, 1906 where he died March 17, 1911.
