| JENKINS, ADOLPHUS K. (1844~1910) A.K. Jenkins was born Georgia in 1844. During the Civil War he belonged to Company H, 1st Engineering Regiment in the Army of Northern Virginia.
Jenkins came to Texas in 1872. He was a widowed farmer who was a member of the Baptist Church before admittance to the Confederate Men's Home on June 30, 1908. He died there February 23, 1910 and was later buried at the Texas State Cemetery. |
