| LESESNE, PAUL (1844 ~ 1910). Confederate veteran Paul Lesesne was born in North Carolina in 1844. During the Civil War he served in Company K, 40th North Carolina Heavy Artillery, Whiting's Brigade in the Army of Tennessee.
Lesesne came to Texas in 1872 and lived in Houston, Harris County. He was not married and was a farmer before admittance to the Confederate Men's Home on October 21, 1910. He died there December 13, 1910 and was buried at the Texas State Cemetery.
