CROSSLAND, A. M. (1823 ~ 1909). Confederate veteran A. M. Crossland was born in 1823. He enlisted in the Navarro Rifles, Company I, 4th Texas Infantry, Hood's Brigade on April 14, 1863, under C. M. Winkler. He was wounded at the Battle of the Wilderness on May 6, 1864 and again at Chaffin's Farm on September 29, 1864. The wounds were in the arm and thigh, which left him disabled.

Crossland died on April 5, 1909 and was buried at the Texas State Cemetery on April 6, 1909.
