SHIPMAN, ELIZA HANCOCK (1813~1858) Eliza Hancock Shipman was born December 22, 1813. Her husband, Daniel Shipman, was a Republic of Texas Veteran. She died on September 11, 1858, in Goliad County, Texas. She was originally buried in Weesatche, Goliad County, Texas. Shipman was reinterred in the Texas State Cemetery in 1936.
