HARRIS, PATRICIA LOUISE O'BRIEN (1920 ~ 2005). Patricia Louise O'Brien Harris was born in Vincennes, Indiana. She attended the University of Texas at Austin where she was a Blue Bonnet Belle.

She married Herbert S. Harris, Jr. and during World War II, she served as Assistant to the Commanding General of an Army Base in North Carolina while Herbert served in the U.S. Army in Europe.

After the war, she and her husband moved to Midland, Texas to open a law office where they resided and worked until 1979. They then moved to Austin when Herbert was appointed Chairman of the Industrial Accident Board.

Patricia was a member of the Porcelain Arts Club in Austin and held a leadership office in the State organization during her tenure.

Patricia passed away suddenly on October 9, 2005 at the age of 85. She was interred in the Texas State Cemetery three days later.
