| | SHEPPARD, ZELLA HENSLEE (1879 ~ 1963). Zella Henslee Sheppard was born October 7, 1879 on a ranch at Farmersville, Texas.
Her husband, George Hartfield Sheppard, served as the state comptroller of Texas from 1929 until his death in 1949.
After the death of her husband, she continued to reside in Austin, Texas, until three years before her death when she moved to Sweetwater, Texas, to live with a daughter. She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Austin.
She was 83 years old when she died March 8, 1963, in Sweetwater, Texas.
