| | BUMGARDNER, WILLIAM MITCHELL(1853~1944)William Mitchell Bumgardner was born in Arkansas on December 16, 1853, to William Bumgardner. His mother's name is not known except for her last name: Oliphant. Bumgardner served in the Confederacy during the Civil War and later became a Texas Ranger.
Bumgardner died at Brackenridge Hospital on August 4, 1944. He was buried in the Texas State Cemetery the next day.
