| BERRYMAN, ARCH B. (1841~1940)Arch B. Berryman was born in May 1841 in Tennessee to Frank Berryman and Eliza Colton. Berryman moved to Texas around 1846, and settled in Winters where he worked as a farmer. During the War, he served in Company H of the twentieth Texas Infantry in Dickie's Brigade.
Due to his advanced age, Berryman was admitted to the Confederate Men's Home in Austin on October 6, 1939. He lived in the Home for less than a year before his death on April 30, 1940.
