| BROWN, MARY LEA DILL (1854~1938) Mary Lea Dill Brown was born in Goliad, Goliad County, Texas on November 21, 1854 or 1855, to Dr. Jacob Alison and Nancy Coffee Lea Dill. Mrs. Brown was educated at Goliad College and married William Morton Brown September 25, 1877. Together, the Browns had four children: Nellie Lea, Flora, Morton and Minelma. A member of the First Southern Presbyterian Church of Austin, Mrs. Brown died September 25, 1938, and was buried in the Texas State Cemetery two days later. Information provided by the Rev. Jerry R.
