RHODES, JESSE THOMAS (1846 ~ 1932). Jesse Thomas Rhodes was born in Georgia on December 24, 1846, and fought with Company A of the 7th Georgia Infantry in French's Brigade of the Georgia Army during the Civil War.

Rhodes moved to Texas in 1871 and settled in Malakoff, Henderson County where he worked as a farmer. On December 15, 1925, Rhodes entered the Confederate Men's Home claiming old age as his disability.

According to the Confederate Home Roster, Rhodes was widowed when he moved into the home. His wife Dellie is buried in Tool Cemetery, Tool, Henderson County, Texas, and was a Christian.

On May 4, 1932, Rhodes died and was buried in the Texas State Cemetery the next day.
