Nancy Tennesee Truman, b. 28 Jun 1843 in Clark Co, Ark (daughter of William Truman and Aletha Jane Hudson). She married Joseph Barnett New, married 06 Jun 1870 in Caldwell Co, Tx (Book C, pg 273), b. 06 Oct 1847 in Lauderdale Springs, Ms (son of William Robert New and Millisa Barnett), d. 29 Jun 1929 in Austin, Travis Co, Tex, buried: Austin, Tx in State Cemetery on E. 7th. St. Nancy died 18 May 1926 in Austin, Travis Co, Tx, buried: Austin, Tx in State Cemetery on E. 7th. St.
Nancy Tennesee Truman was the daughter of William Truman & Aletha Jane Hudson. Aletha had 4 Truman children and later married John Osborn Florida whose wife had died leaving him with 3 children. Aletha & John Florida had 7 more children together and 14 children between them.
Nancy T. Truman became blind in later life. She entered the Confederate Women's Home in Austin which was her home at her death.
