| STOGNER, WILLIAM F. (1846 ~ 1922). Confederate veteran William F. Stogner was born in 1846 in North Carolina.
Stogner enlisted in the Confederate Army in May of 1863 at Huntsville, Alabama. He was assigned to the 30th Alabama Regiment, but was transferred shortly after to Company C of the 22nd Alabama Regiment and then Company F of the 29th Alabama Infantry.
Stogner applied for a Confederate in Austin in 1895. He was admitted to the Confederate Men's Home in 1920 and died two years later.
