| | BAXTER, ELIZABETH JANE STEVENS (1835 ~ 1922). Elizabeth Jane Stevens was born on December 13, 1835, to James Stevens and Maria Ritter both from South Carolina.
Elizabeth married Confederate veteran J.D. Baxter at an undetermined time. During the later years of her life lived in the Confederate Women's Home.
She died on February 13, 1922, and on the following day she was buried at the Texas State Cemetery.
