Mary Jane was born Oct. 24, 1932, to a ranching family in South Texas. Educated at Baylor University, she was elected to Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities. While there, she met Albert White, and after graduation, they married on June 15, 1957. She taught elementary school for three years in Fort Worth. She loved the Lord and loved his word. She would pray and study each day from 5 a.m. until daybreak. She loved her family and her church where she taught a Bible class for over 40 years. She was a leader in Bible Study Fellowship for 10 years. She served on the Advisory Board of Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. She enjoyed world travel especially in the Holy Land and Far East.

She was featured in the Star-Telegram for her cooking and was a member of the Fort Worth Woman's Club, La Maison and Law Wives Club. She was an avid reader, an excellent cook, and loved quilting and embroidery work. She was a wonderful wife for 54 years, loved and nurtured three children and was her husband's supporter and friend.

Our special appreciation goes to her caregivers, Winetta Peel and Francis Johnson, for their service for the last four years. Thank you also to CCS Hospice of Dublin for their compassionate and attentive care in her final days.
