Cemetery Employee Starts UT Army ROTC Program (02/13/14)

The Texas State Cemetery is proud to announce that part-time employee Brandon Brown joined the University of Texas Army ROTC program at the start of the 2014 Spring Semester. Brown is a sophmore cadet corporal with the Longhorn Battalion and is one of four crosstown affiliation cadets from Huston-Tillotson University.

Cemetery Superintendent Harry Bradley said Brown is a good employee with a bright future.

"We're happy to have Brandon as part of the staff," Bradley, a U.S. Air Force veteran said. "He's a hard worker and will be a big asset to UT's ROTC program. We're always happy to support the men and women who serve in the armed forces."
